1. Apply Aloe Vera Gel before Shampoo

How to Use Aloe Vera Gel on Hair as Pre Poo: Generously massage Aloe gel on your scalp; spread it over your hair and ends. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes, and then shampoo your hair.

2. Mix it With Shampoo

You can extend the benefits of Aloe Vera gel after pre-poo (shampoo) by mixing it in your shampoo, or you can even use a shampoo that already has Aloe gel. Since Aloe Vera moisturises hair quite well thus, adding it to your regular shampoo would be quite beneficial.

4. Aloe Vera Gel to Tangle your Hair

It is always good to use a nice hair detangle or a comb that has wide tooth as it won’t let your hair fall, you can apply a lightweight hair serum that lets your hair detangle while removing frizz and making them look presentable.

How to Tangle Hair with Aloe: In order to make a hair serum or a hair care product that helps to detangle your hair without any effort, you would need distilled water, 1 spoon of glycerine, 1-2 drops of essential oil and grapefruit seed extracts, and 1 spoon full of Aloe gel. Mix all the ingredients well. Section your hair neatly and apply the mixture on each section. Leave it to rest for a couple of seconds, and then apply it to the ends of your hair.  Subsequently, comb your hair for the much needed presentable hair.

Nourishing Hair Masks and DIY Recipes with Aloe Vera Gel

If you do not wish to use Aloe Vera gel with any of your hair care products like shampoo, hair conditioner etc. In that case, you can put together a few easily available hair products along with the Aloe Vera gel and prepare a soothing hair mask in your free time.

1. Aloe Vera Hair Pack for Shiny Hair

For salon-like soft and shiny hair, you no longer need to go through tedious salon treatments that might not even last long!  All you should do is collect a few home remedies such as two spoons of honey, yoghurt and Aloe Vera gel each. Mix these ingredients well, and your homemade hair mask for shiny hair is ready!

Apply this nourishing hair mask on your hair and scalp. Leave it for 20-25 minutes or until it gets partially dry. Rinse it then with or without a shampoo. Repeat this once a week for lustrous and shiny hair.

2. Aloe Hair Pack for Hair Growth

Who does not dream of long and healthy hair that too without adding many of expensive products to the hair care regime? Aloe Vera gel can help you counter hair fall and work as one of the best home remedies for hair growth.  Another ingredient that works wonders on hair is onion. You can use both to get the benefits of both worlds.

Mix equal parts of onion juice and Aloe gel. Apply this mixture to your roots, massage it generously, leave it for 40-45 minutes, and then wash it with a mild shampoo. Do this twice a week for best results.

Amla also works best for hair; you can even mix amla juice and Aloe gel and apply it just like the above hair mask.

3. Aloe Vera Hair Mask For Dandruff

Winters or no winters that white flakes could be annoying around the year! There are a couple of anti-dandruff shampoos that you can try coupled with a hair pack for effective results. Aloe gel and tea tree oil work best to remove dandruff. You can even substitute tea tree oil with lemon juice as it will work similarly.

In a tablespoon of Aloe gel, add 2-3 drops of tea tree oil, give them a nice mix. For a nice fragrance and soft hair, you can also add a few drops of rose water to it. Massage the mixture over the scalp and leave it for an hour before rinsing with warm water. Make sure the water isn’t too warm.

4. Aloe Vera Hair Mask for Frizz

Tamed and frizz-free hair can turn your bad day into a good day! Smooth hair gives a nice presentable look that compliments every attire. You can use Aloe gel to get free of frizz. How?

Mix three tablespoons of coconut hair oil with four tablespoons of Aloe Vera gel and two tablespoons of honey. Apply this concoction over your head, covering ends and roots. Then cover your head with a warm towel; it would allow the mixture to penetrate inside and do its job perfectly. Leave it for an hour, then wash your hair with a mild shampoo, followed by a conditioner.
