IPL 2023 Auction Live Event Summary

The 15th season of IPL started with a player auction held in Chennai. In the event, there were ten franchises who bid for 57 players for the next edition of the IPL T20 series, and all-rounders were in demand. The most expensive player for IPL Player Auction 2022 was Ishan Kishan who was bought by Mumbai Indians for a huge sum of ₹15.25 Cr.
Other top players include Kyle Jamieson and Glenn Maxwell who were bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore. Along with this, K Gowtham and Moeen Ali were bought by Chennai Super Kings.
